COFFEE HOUSE CONCERT
WEDNESDAY - NOVEMBER 2ND - 7 PM - LIGHTRIDGE CAFETERIA
Coffee House will be our first concert of the year as a department. It will be a mixture of solos, duets, and group performances prepared by students. Each ensemble will also sing a prepared song for this event. Coffee House will feature music that is not of classical nature and is centered around students’ choices. Students have the ability to audition for solos, duets, and group performances THIS WEEK after school and before school, if they contact me in advance. Encourage your student to audition! Students are to wear their white Lightridge Chorus t-shirt and any bottoms of their choosing besides sweatpants and leggings. Each class has chosen accessories to wear with their chorus shirt based on what they are singing.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets for this event will be $10 per person. Please purchase tickets for this event here. Tickets will also be sold at the door with cash or credit card payments. Please do what you can to purchase online ahead of time to assist with the flow of admission that day! Students who are in Lightridge Chorus do not need to pay for admission since they all will be performing. This is a mandatory event for all Lightridge Chorus students. Coffee House will be our biggest annual fundraiser.
CONCESSIONS
We will be selling concessions at Coffee House. Cash and Credit Card payments will be accepted. $1 will be the price of all snacks. $2 will be the price of all drinks! Come hungry!
RAFFLES
We will also be looking to sell different raffle baskets! Please be ready to make donations for our first annual raffles! Our Lightridge Chorus Boosters will be running this portion of the evening.
FIRST QUARTER GRADES
All grades are up to date at this time for Lightridge Chorus students. I have submitted final grades for the quarter already. If you or your students have any concerns regarding their grades, please do not hesitate to reach out to me so we can fix anything that needs to be addressed!
DISTRICT CHORUS AUDITIONS
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 1ST - WOODGROVE HIGH SCHOOL
Students who are participating in District Chorus Auditions have been preparing for the past couple of weeks and are aware of the schedule. We will have a bus available for students to be picked up from Lightridge HS at 12:00 PM and will take us to Woodgrove HS. We will be back after all students have finished their auditions around 3:00 PM. If a student would like to drive themselves to auditions or a parent would like to do so - that is okay! The bus is provided in case students need it. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to your audition time. Students have received an email with a reminder in case they have not paid for their District Chorus Audition Fee of $10. Please check with your student to see if there is an outstanding payment that needs to be made.
CHORUS BOOSTERS
The Lightridge Chorus Boosters have officially been established! Congratulations to our leadership team who has stepped up to serve! They will have announcements at Coffee House to share! In the meantime, if you are interested in joining the Lightridge Chorus Boosters, please click on the links below. $25 is the fee for membership. $50 is the fee for a membership with a Lightridge Chorus decal and spirit wear. There is also availability to make a donation to the Boosters separately should you choose to do so!
